Todd Bracher

Todd Bracher

Todd Bracher is a native New Yorker who moved to Italy after completing a two year stint in Denmark at the Denmarks Designskole. He graduated with honors in Industrial Design (1996) at the Pratt Institute in New York, after a 4 years course.
He served as senior designer for several of New York's design consultancies as well as a consultant for various studios in Copenhagen, Denmark and Milan, Italy. His tasks ranged from consumer products, store planning to graphic design work, furniture and exhibition design.
"Open Privacy", a tables and seating ensemble designed by Todd in 1999, awarded the ID Award in 2000 and the design "Bloom" was a four-time award winner: the Promosedia Design for the European Chair Competition, Udine, Italy (2000); Idee Award, Tokyo, Japan (2001); ID award, New York, USA (2002) and the UNESCO Design 21 Award, Paris, France (2002).

His exposure has continued through publications from Wallpaper* (UK), I.D. (USA), Stern (DE), Corriere Della Sera (IT) as well as his exhibitions in Denmark, France, Italy, Japan, Sweden, and the USA.
